Apple Watch 4 To Feature Touch Sensitive Solid State Buttons

We are expecting to see a new Apple Watch 4 later this year, the device is said to get a number of updated over the current Apple Watch Series 3.

We previously heard that the new Apple Watch would feature a larger display and a new design, it looks like it will also get some other new hardware. We also heard that this years devices may come with a new microLED display.

According to a recent report by Fast Company the new Apple Watch 4 will come with solid state buttons. These new solid state buttons would use haptic feedback just like Apple has used on the home button on some of their iPhone models. Apple will apparently have the same buttons as the existing Apple Watch on the side, one button and a digital crown.

The buttons will apparently also function as sensors for health related data, things like heart rhythms and more, Health is expected to play a large part in future Apple Watch devices and also future iPhones, this is one area that Apple has focused on over the last few years.

Apple is expected to include this feature in this years Apple Watch 4, it if does not appear in this years models then it will land in next years 2019 Apple Watch. We are expecting to see the new Apple Watch 4 some time in September along with the new iPhone X smartphones.
